Stirling Mortimer Ltd is a marketing company promoting Funds that offer unique investment opportunities well removed from traditional financial products. It allows clients to take advantage of many different strategies to diversify their portfolios.

All the Funds are administered from Guernsey and listed on the Channel Islands Stock Exchange allowing investment from Self-Invested Personal Pensions, ISA portfolios and Trusts as well as individual and corporate investors.

Our Property Funds invest into either “right to purchase” (RTP) contracts, land or completed property with some offering a minimum return to the Fund over two years backed by cash deposits and, where possible, bank guarantees which provide an element of capital security for investors.

An RTP contract is a tradable commodity and the Funds look to sell them to people who want to buy the completed property and thereby make a profit for investors. We have launched Funds that cover property markets in Spain, Morocco, Cape Verde and Mexico.

More recently we have started to look at direct land deals in the United Kingdom taking advantage of the downturn in land values in the UK and the need for cash flow for some very large construction groups.

The Stirling Mortimer No 8 Fund UK Land Ltd has been granted FSA Prospectus approval.

In short, we look at markets where we consider that the investments enjoy legal protection allied to the prospect of future capital growth.

One of the advantages of some of our Funds is the ability to gear the returns. This means that investors can benefit from returns based on the full value of the asset while only having invested a much smaller percentage.
